STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

Alexandra Wood Bespoke Items Terms and Conditions for Clients

1. Agreement to Terms

By commissioning bespoke items from Alexandra Wood ("we", "us", or "our"), you, the client ("you" or "your"), agree to these Terms and Conditions. These Terms are designed to ensure a clear understanding of our mutual obligations and to limit disputes over expectations. Our products are custom-made to your specifications, and as such, differ from standard retail purchases.

2. No Refunds Policy

Due to the highly personalised nature of bespoke items, we operate a strict no-refunds policy. This policy is an exception to standard consumer rights typically applicable to non-customised goods. By agreeing to these Terms, you acknowledge that once an order is placed and production has commenced, it cannot be cancelled, and refunds will not be issued under any circumstances.

3. Right to Remake

We stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our bespoke items. In the unlikely event that the final product significantly deviates from the agreed-upon specifications or exhibits material defects, we commit to offering a full remake of the item. This commitment is contingent upon the following conditions:

-Notification Period: You must notify us in writing of any issues within 7 days of receiving the item.

-Inspection and Validation: Upon return, the item will be inspected to confirm that the issue aligns with your claims and meets our criteria for a remake.

-Criteria for Remake: A remake is warranted for material defects or significant deviations from the agreed-upon specifications. Minor discrepancies that do not affect the overall design or functionality of the item, as well as issues arising from incorrect information provided by you, do not qualify for a remake.

4. Limitation of Liability

Our liability for any issues arising from your order is strictly limited to the remedy of a remake as outlined above. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including but not limited to lost profits or savings, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

5. Client Responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information regarding your specifications and requirements for the bespoke item. We are not responsible for issues or dissatisfactions stemming from incorrect, incomplete, or ambiguous information provided.

6. Amendments to Terms

We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any amendments will be effective immediately upon posting to our official communication channels. Your continued commissioning of bespoke items from us following such amendments constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms

7. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Alexandra Woods operates, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.

By commissioning a bespoke item from Alexandra Wood, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
