Alexandra Wood Bespoke Items Terms and Conditions for Clients
1. Agreement to Terms
By commissioning bespoke items from Alexandra Wood ("we", "us", or "our"), you, the client ("you" or "your"), agree to these Terms and Conditions. These Terms are designed to ensure a clear understanding of our mutual obligations and to limit disputes over expectations. Our products are custom-made to your specifications, and as such, differ from standard retail purchases.
2. No Refunds Policy
Due to the highly personalised nature of bespoke items, we operate a strict no-refunds policy. This policy is an exception to standard consumer rights typically applicable to non-customised goods. By agreeing to these Terms, you acknowledge that once an order is placed and production has commenced, it cannot be cancelled, and refunds will not be issued under any circumstances.
3. Right to Remake (100% Satisfaction Gurantee)
We stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our bespoke items with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. In the unlikely event that the final product significantly deviates from the agreed-upon specifications or exhibits material defects, we commit to offering a full remake of the item, ensuring your complete satisfaction. This commitment is contingent upon the following conditions:We are committed to delivering the product as promised and guaranteeing your satisfaction by remaking any items that do not meet these high standards.
Notification Period: You must notify us in writing of any issues within 7 days of receiving the item.
Inspection and Validation: Upon return, the item will be inspected to confirm that the issue aligns with your claims and meets our criteria for a remake.
Criteria for Remake: A remake is warranted for material defects or significant deviations from the agreed-upon specifications. Minor discrepancies that do not affect the overall design or functionality of the item, as well as issues arising from incorrect information provided by you, do not qualify for a remake.
4. Limitation of Liability
Our liability for any issues arising from your order is strictly limited to the remedy of a remake as outlined above. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including but not limited to lost profits or savings, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
5. Client Responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information regarding your specifications and requirements for the bespoke item. We are not responsible for issues or dissatisfactions stemming from incorrect, incomplete, or ambiguous information provided.
6. Alterations Policy
We offer complimentary alterations within 1 month from the date the item is completed and delivered. This service covers minor adjustments necessary to achieve the perfect fit. After the 1-month period, any alterations will be chargeable, and costs will be communicated to you prior to any work being done.
7.Alterations Due to Changes in Size or Shape
Once initial measurements have been taken and production has begun, any significant changes in your size or shape that occur during the tailoring process may require alterations. If your measurements have changed substantially from the original specifications provided, we reserve the right to charge additional fees for any necessary adjustments to the item.
Significant Changes: Changes in size or shape are considered significant if they affect the fit or structure of the garment beyond standard allowances.
Notification Requirement: You are responsible for notifying us promptly of any changes to your body measurements during the production process.
Alteration Charges: Any adjustments required as a result of significant size or shape changes will be billed as additional alterations, and the costs will be communicated to you prior to any modifications being made.
8. Amendments to Terms
We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any amendments will be effective immediately upon posting to our official communication channels. Your continued commissioning of bespoke items from us following such amendments constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
7. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Alexandra Woods operates, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.
By commissioning a bespoke item from Alexandra Wood, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
